In the Beginning
SAYREP was founded by friends Matt Proffitt and Mark Macejewski while thinking of their futures. Being young real estate professionals, they saw a need in the San Antonio market for creating a way for the next generation of industry leaders to meet and share experiences. The first mixer in June of 2006 started with humble expectations. What they found was a sincere interest from the real estate community to participate in SAYREP.
A Little Bit About the Founders
Matt Proffitt started his real estate career in the title insurance industry in 1998. Matt is a native San Antonian, graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Matt is a dedicated, hard-working person, yet friends and co-workers are keenly aware of his wry sense of humor.
Mark Macejewski entered real estate from a background as a touring golf professional. Mark translated the passion learned from personal success on the golf course into a desire to motivate those around him. The result is Mark is a leading coach and mentor for local real estate professionals.
